Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced
Chef
with strong knowledge of
Seafood and American cuisine
. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can take ownership of BOH operations, including menu development, recipe documentation, scheduling, and cost control.
Responsibilities:Culinary Leadership & Menu Development
Develop and execute seasonal menus, specials, and new recipes.
Maintain a complete and organized
recipe book
for training and consistency.
Ensure exceptional presentation, flavor, and food quality at all times.
Kitchen Operations Management
Manage full
kitchen scheduling
and staffing for all shifts.
Oversee
inventory
, ordering, and vendor relationships.
Maintain target
food costs
and minimize waste.
Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff.
Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant kitchen environment.
Team Culture & Communication
Foster a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.
Communicate effectively with FOH and management.
Lead with professionalism, integrity, and hands-on involvement.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience
as a Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
Strong background in
seafood preparation
and
American cuisine
.
Experience in
menu development
,
recipe creation
, and
seasonal planning
.
Skilled in
scheduling
,
inventory
,
food costing
, and operational management.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year
, depending on experience
