Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Head Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. As a Head Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, ordering, menus, featured drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working in nightlife or catering settings.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and ensuring timely delivery of beverages. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations, including checking identification for age verification. Assist with banquet or catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.

Skills

Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell drinks and menu items effectively. Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Experience in banquet service or catering environments is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar point-of-sale technology is a plus. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Previous experience in nightclub settings is advantageous but not required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
