Job Description

Qualifications:

Current Alabama Teacher's Certification (preferred) or classified dependent upon qualifications of the person holding the position Previous Experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches' Education Program Must have or be willing to obtain CDL

Essential Duties

:


Plan, organize, and direct the Basketball program Instruct athletes in fundamentals, develop character, model expected behavior Ensures that all coaches in the basketball program are certified and cleared Ensures that student-athletes practicing or playing have been cleared through the Athletic Director Attend the AHSAA sponsored rules clinic for his/her sports * Board Approved Stipend $2,200.
