job summary:
A Hardware Design Engineer is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the Raleigh, NC area. This position will be interacting with various teams, including architecture, verification and physical design, ensuring that the design is implemented and verified to the spec.

salary: $80.00 - 96.74 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:

• SOC/IP design team, driving many facets of high performance, high bandwidth designs.

• Throughout the program you will be interacting with various teams, including architecture, verification and physical design, ensuring that the design is implemented and verified to the spec.

Skills:

• Track record of successful ASIC/SOC tape outs in deep sub-micron technologies.

• Experienced in Synthesis, Timing constraints, PPA trade-offs and Post-Silicon Debug.

• In-depth Knowledge or experience in Fabric/Network On Chip and/or Networking ASICs.

• Experienced in Basic floor planning, static timing analysis, closure and working with Physical design team.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience with Python or Perl scripting.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors, masters preferred.

• 10+ years of experience delivering successful IP, FPGA or ASIC/SOC designs.
