About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Hardbander/Welder

to join our team. This position is responsible for performing hardbanding, welding, and related maintenance on drilling tools and equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on welding experience, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

hardbanding

on drill pipe, tool joints, and other downhole components using approved procedures. Set up and operate

MIG, TIG, and Stick welding

equipment as required. Inspect, clean, and prepare surfaces prior to welding or hardbanding. Conduct visual inspections to ensure weld quality and adherence to specifications. Maintain equipment, materials, and a clean, safe work environment. Record job details and quality control data accurately. Follow all

company safety policies, PPE requirements, and quality standards.

Assist with general shop duties and equipment maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

2+ years of welding experience;

hardbanding experience preferred. Knowledge of

hardbanding processes, materials, and inspection standards.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Preferred Skills

Experience operating

Rotary Hardbanding machines

(e.g., Arnco, Duraband). Understanding of

API specifications

and

tool joint repair

processes. Basic mechanical and maintenance skills.
