Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person/Laborer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and general labor tasks to support the upkeep and improvement of residential or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Prior experience with electrical tools and familiarity with using an ohmmeter are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Conduct general repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting. Assist with property improvements and renovation projects. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks. Perform inspections to identify issues requiring repair or maintenance. Measure, cut, assemble, and install various fixtures or structures as needed. Troubleshoot electrical systems using appropriate testing equipment such as an ohmmeter. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant building codes and regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance person services or general labor work preferred. Ability to operate basic electrical testing tools, including an ohmmeter. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Valid driver's license is preferred for transportation to job sites. Reliable transportation to reach various job locations as needed. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
