Job Title: Handyman/Service Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced handyman to join our team as a Service Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of various home repair and maintenance tasks, as well as excellent customer service skills. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for completing service calls in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction with high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to service requests and schedule appointments with customers Perform a variety of general home repairs and maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine the best course of action for repairs Provide estimates and recommendations to customers for repairs or upgrades Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on progress and any changes in the scope of work Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent on each service call Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a handyman or service technician Strong knowledge of various home repair and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed
Physical Demands:

This job requires the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual labor for extended periods of time. The candidate must be physically fit and able to perform the duties of the job.
