Duties

Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs of cabinetry, flooring, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance person duties Respond promptly to repair requests from staff or management to address issues efficiently Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs before they escalate Install or assemble fixtures, furniture, appliances, and equipment as required Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and supplies used Collaborate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or upgrades when necessary Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes to promote a secure environment

Requirements

Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar maintenance role with a broad skill set in repairs and installations Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting techniques Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement effective solutions Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks for extended periods Good communication skills to understand repair needs and explain solutions clearly Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for off-site errands or equipment pickups Certifications in relevant trades (e.g., electrical license, plumbing certification) are a plus but not mandatory
