Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a versatile skill set to perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks around residential or commercial properties. This role offers an opportunity to utilize your craftsmanship and problem-solving abilities to ensure properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained. The position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently handle diverse projects.

Responsibilities

Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks Conduct routine maintenance inspections and identify areas needing attention Install fixtures, appliances, doors, windows, and other hardware Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions promptly Maintain a clean and organized work environment Communicate with clients or property managers regarding project scope and progress Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes

Experience

Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or in a similar maintenance role preferred Strong knowledge of various repair techniques across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry) Ability to finish concrete and lay blocks is a plus Finish carpentry expereience desired Valid driver's license is desirable for travel between job sites Prior experience working independently with minimal supervision is advantageous

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
