Handy Man

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Handy Man to join our team. The Handy Man will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various small items at properties. Anything under $1000 expense and not requiring a license (plumbing, electrical, roof, etc). The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Must be comfortable with at least basic technology like ability to use apps and document with photos, use a smart phone - the basics.

The right candidate thrives being out in the field, and enjoys creatively finding solutions. Must be organized and able to hold yourself accountable and keep good notes. Must be presentable at all time as interactions are frequent with the public (tenants, guests, etc). Ability to handle minor technology things (like setting up a camera) also.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patch painting jobs, fixing furniture, troubleshooting, installing locks, mounting things like TVs or cameras, and things of this nature

Skills:

- Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role or strong personal knowledge that can be demostrated

- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for maintenance tasks.

- Strong knowledge of general repair techniques in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
