About the Property

This scenic lakefront property in New Hampshire's Lakes Region welcomes guests throughout the year. With a mix of guest accommodations and seasonal events, the property requires ongoing care to ensure the grounds and facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming in every season.

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Handyman to manage property maintenance, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in their work, and appreciates flexible, part-time hours. The Handyman will report directly to the Operations and Marketing Manager.

Position Overview

This is a part-time, hourly position with shifts scheduled in 2-hour minimum blocks, up to a maximum of 15 hours per week, depending on workload and property needs. The Handyman is responsible for general upkeep, light repairs, outdoor maintenance, and seasonal support. Work is independent, with guidance and coordination from management as needed.

Responsibilities

Grounds & Outdoor Maintenance

Mow lawns, trim hedges, and maintain garden beds Rake and care for beachfront and lakeside areas Stack and replenish firewood at outdoor fire pits Keep walkways, common areas, and outdoor spaces clean and safe Assist with snow blowing and salting during winter months Set up and maintain outdoor furniture and event areas

Property & Light Maintenance

Perform light carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, and general repairs Conduct cold-weather checks for heat, plumbing, and safety concerns Support unit preparation and light cleaning during off-peak seasons if needed

Event & Project Support

Assist with setup and breakdown for weddings and group events Support small renovation projects, cleanup, and general labor

Schedule & Availability

Flexible, part-time schedule Shifts are a minimum of 2 hours Up to 15 hours per week, based on work demand Some weekends and holidays required On-call availability for maintenance emergencies during all seasons

Qualifications

Comfortable with light carpentry and basic plumbing Able to work outdoors year-round in New England weather Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Prior maintenance or handyman experience is a plus, but not required
