We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving residential or commercial properties. This role requires a versatile individual capable of handling a variety of repair tasks, ensuring that properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained. The Maintenance Person will work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks Maintain and repair appliances, fixtures, and structural elements of buildings Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards Install new hardware, fixtures, or appliances as needed Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot issues efficiently Keep work areas clean and organized after completing repairs Collaborate with clients or property managers to understand specific repair requirements

Skills

Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or in a similar maintenance role Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general repairs Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and effectively Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license is preferred for travel between job sites Nice-to-have skills include experience with HVAC systems or tile installation
