As a
TresLife Stylist
, you'll play a key role in creating an inspiring experience for every guest who walks through our doors. You'll help them embrace their natural beauty while working in a peaceful, purpose-driven environment.
YOUR ROLE AT TRESLIFE:
Applying TresLife concepts for wavy, curly, coily, and kinky textured hair, by attending 4 weeks of paid training classes.
Perform one on one consultations on new clients and create a personalized detailed profile, to give each client a personalized experience each visit.
Creating an amazing customer experience by promptly acknowledging and warmly greeting each guest entering the store
Offering friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous service that always takes priority over other related duties
Determining each guest's needs and answering questions concerning products and services
Recommending additional and complementary products and/or services based on guest interests or items already selected for purchase
Informing guests of current promotions, events and services within the store, booking appointments for in-store events
Serving multiple guests at one time while maintaining composure during busy or peak selling times
Helping to eliminate and/or reduce potential theft of products by providing exceptional guest service and maintaining awareness while on the sales floor
Setting up advertising displays or arranging merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events
Ensuring the store is replenished throughout the day and merchandising all products to company standards on shelves and tables
Participating in physical inventory preparation, execution, and follow-up
Ensuring overall store cleanliness including restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and sales floor
Staying informed regarding new or existing products (e.g., their ingredients and benefits) to better serve guests
Attend monthly business development meetings to support personal growth
THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma (or equivalent), with 1+ year of relevant work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Must have Cosmetology License or are currently enrolled in a cosmetology program
A demonstrated passion for superior guest service, with the ability to build and maintain strong guest relationships
Occasional in-state and or out-of-state travel required to tradeshows
Competency with sales and troubleshooting
The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
1 year of retail experience is preferred, but not required
On a regular basis, requires the ability to stand, bend and lift
Adherence to TresLife's dress code and policies in the Employee Handbook
