Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cosmetology and have a flair for creativity, providing exceptional hair services while ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves not only styling hair but also engaging with clients to understand their needs, offering expert advice on hair care, and promoting salon products and services.

Responsibilities

Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences. Apply knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients. Perform makeup application services as needed, enhancing the overall client experience. Utilize software for scheduling appointments and managing client records effectively. Engage in upselling salon products and services to enhance the client's experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon workspace. Stay updated on current trends in hairstyling, makeup application, and beauty products. Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service.

Experience

Valid cosmetology license is required; barbering experience is a plus. Proven experience in hairstyling, including knowledge of various techniques and trends. Familiarity with retail sales practices within a salon environment is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
