Responsibilities

Lead dynamic gymnastics sessions and recreational activities tailored to various age groups and skill levels. Design creative lesson plans that incorporate fundamental gymnastics skills, sports, martial arts like karate or judo, climbing activities, cheerleading routines, and swimming basics. Ensure the safety of all participants by supervising activities closely, enforcing behavior management strategies, and maintaining a safe environment at all times. Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation, teamwork, and confidence-building among children. Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to help children understand techniques and movements effectively. Manage group behavior positively, addressing challenges with patience and professionalism to maintain an enjoyable experience for everyone. Collaborate with team members to develop new programs that incorporate physical education principles and diverse sporting activities such as basketball or climbing adventures. Maintain equipment safety checks and ensure the cleanliness of activity areas regularly. Communicate with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, achievements, or concerns as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in a sports coaching, teaching, or childcare setting. Knowledge of gymnastics fundamentals and experience leading gymnastics classes or similar physical activities. Background in sports such as swimming, martial arts (karate, judo), cheerleading, basketball or climbing is highly desirable. Lifeguard experience is a plus to support swimming-related activities safely. Strong understanding of behavior management techniques to foster positive discipline and engagement. Ability to teach physical education concepts clearly and effectively across different age groups. Passion for promoting health, fitness, and active lifestyles among youth.
