Grassroots Gymnastics is a recreational and competitive gymnastics facility in North Charleston, SC. We are fun, knowledgable, and kind, and our goal is to provide the best possible experience for children of all ages and abilities in the sport of gymnastics. We are looking for people who want to add to our already amazing team of coaches! This position is listed as part-time, however, there is an opportunity for full-time for the right candidate!

Duties
- Implement gymnastics training programs for athletes of various skill levels and ages
- Instruct and demonstrate proper techniques and form for gymnastics exercises
- Provide feedback and guidance to athletes to help them improve their skills and performance
- Ensure the safety of athletes by enforcing proper safety protocols and spotting techniques

- Light cleaning of common use areas including the gym areas
- Attend staff development and training meetings

Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation and a working cell phone
- Must be available between the hours of 3-8pm a minumum of 2 days per week, and/or Saturday's 9-1pm.
- Strong communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate athletes
- Ability to adapt coaching methods to meet the needs of individual athletes
- Patience and positive attitude when working with children
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Experience working with students or children in a coaching or teaching capacity (preferred)

-Previous experience coaching gymnastics or participating in competitive gymnastics is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
