The Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions (WFCU) serves as a strategic partner of the World Council of Credit Unions, advancing the global credit union movement through philanthropy, engagement, and


Impact.


WFCU is a separate 501c3 established to advance the shared vision of expanding financial inclusion and providing leadership development programs that promote a vibrant and growing global credit union system. WFCU advances global credit union impact through women's empowerment, youth leadership, disaster relief, professional upskilling and cross-border collaboration.


Global Women's Leadership Network (GWLN) is a program under WFCU focused on the advancement of women in leadership in credit unions/financial cooperatives worldwide. GWLN focuses on elevating women in credit union leadership, addressing the inequality gaps for women, growing the pipeline of leaders and engaging the industry to address issues that are locally, nationally and globally impacting women.


PRIMARY PURPOSE:



The GWLN Membership Coordinator position is responsible for providing membership support services to WFCU's signature programs: GWLN, World Young Credit Union Professionals Network (WYCUP) and the Global Development Education program (Global DE), transforming them from engagement channels into integrated leadership pipelines for the global cooperative movement.


The role is responsible for:


Managing, supporting and growing the GWLN membership base and greater communities (domestically and internationally) Collaborating with key GWLN constituents to manage and grow GWLN localized communities known as Sister Societies Supporting the WYCUP and Global DE Director to best serve these program audiences Providing administrative support to WFCU team

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Global Women's Leadership Network



GWLN Membership and Sister Societies Coordination (65% of role)



Support GWLN Director for overall membership coordination, virtual and in person events[EG1] Develop and implement strategies to retain and recruit new members Manage GWLN inbox, field member and Sister Society inquiries Maintain membership and Sister Society database records (internal CRM and Salesforce) Generate membership reports and deliver analytics for key stakeholders Organize, implement and support the network in establishing new Sister Societies, domestically and internationally Update and distribute Sister Society resource materials annually

WYCUP and Global DE



WYCUP and Global DE Coordination Support (25% of role)



Support WYCUP and Global DE Director for overall coordination Provide support for virtual and in person events

Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions

(10% of role)



Engagements and Events



Provide administrative and logistical support to WFCU team for in person events, activities and engagement experiences (domestic and international), as needed

Personal Development



Identifies and participates in one (1) credit union development opportunity each year that connects back to purpose of the WOCCU/WFCU mission.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

: An Associate or Bachelor's degree in business management, communications[EG1][LF2] , or a related field or 3-5 years of equivalent experience. Experience in financial services or credit unions a plus. Experience in non-profits a plus. Experience in membership management in a service-oriented industry is a plus.


Ability to lead projects, meetings and to work well with diverse teams Strong attention to detail Ability to think critically and communicate succinctly Able to prioritize, manage and handle multiple projects and deadlines Ability to be positive, self-motivated and a reliable team member

Language Skills

: Fluency in English is required. Bilingual skills not required but a plus.

Ability to deal with conflicting priorities to deliver work that aligns to the organization's purpose and vision.


Computer Skills

: Proficient in MS Office suite. Database software and contact management system experience is desirable.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

TRAVEL:

Five to ten days of travel is anticipated to support specific GWLN annual events (domestic and international). A valid passport is required.

Disability and Life Insurance



Short-term Disability (STD)

-Offersincome replacement of 60% up to $1,500 per week for a maximum benefit period of 9 weeks. This benefit will begin after 0 days if you become disabled due to injury and after 7 days if you become disabled due to an illness.


Long-term Disability (LTD)

-Offers income replacement of 60% up to $10,000 per month.


Group Life and AD&D Insurance

- WOCCU provides a replacement for loss of income in the event of an employee's untimely death in the amount of two times the employee's salary up to a maximum of $350,000.


Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance

-WOCCU employees can elect additional life and AD&D insurance plans based on their family's needs.


Voluntary Supplemental Benefits

- WOCCU employees can elect supplemental benefits protections for hospital confinement, accident, cancer, critical illness, and additional term or whole life insurance.


Paid Time Off



Sick Leave

- Eligible employees will accrue sick leave benefits at the rate of 12 days per year (1 day for every full month of service). Part-time employees accrue sick leave at a prorated rate.


Vacation Leave

- Vacation time begins at the commencement of employment and accrues in proportional increments per pay period throughout the calendar year. Vacation accrual is based on years of service. During first year of service one can accrue up to 15 days of vacation.


Paid Holidays

- WOCCU offers 11 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday that can be used at the employee's discretion.

- WOCCU offers a 401K retirement plan that allows pretax contributions up to the annual maximum contribution set by the IRS into your investment funds. WOCCU employees are required to contribute a minimum of 4% of their salary, and WOCCU will match at 100% up to 4% of salary.

-WOCCU also offers a $25 monthly subsidy for Wi-Fi.


Tuition Reimbursement

- Provided the coursework enhances job performance, WOCCU may reimburse employees up to 75% of the annual tuition and related fees incurred during a calendar year, up to a maximum of $5,250 in reimbursed funds per year. Part-time employees would be eligible for tuition reimbursement on a prorated basis.


Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
