Job Description

The Dollar Loan Center is a multi-purpose sports & entertainment venue in Henderson, NV, just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, featuring a variable 6,000 seating capacity. The arena is home to the American Hockey League\xe2\x80\x99s Henderson Silver Knights, the Indoor Football League\xe2\x80\x99s Vegas Knight Hawks, the NBA G League Ignite, the NCAA Big West Basketball Championship and multiple other concerts or specials events annually. The venue is part of the larger Foley Entertainment Group (FEG) portfolio which includes the NHL\xe2\x80\x99s Vegas Golden Knights hockey team, the Premier League\xe2\x80\x99s AFC Bournemouth soccer team along with other restaurant and hospitality entities.
POSITION SUMMARY
There are (2) positions under the Guest Service department - Usher and Ticket Taker. All positions are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the brand during all events at The Dollar Loan Center. The Guest Services Team oversees the enjoyment of each guest, making sure that each guest has a safe and memorable time while in attendance at any event at the venue. These positions report directly to a Guest Service Supervisor and the Guest Services Manager or the Director of Guest Services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ticket Taker: Greet and assist guests when entering the venue utilizing the ticketing process system. Answer any questions guests have regarding the venue\xe2\x80\x99s facilities amenities to include seating areas, restrooms and concession locations.
• Usher: Assist guests in making their way through the venue and to ensure a safe and orderly experience for all visitors. Strong background in customer service. Strong sense of direction. Monitor event areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with venue procedures and policies. Assist guests to their designated seats and inform them of the nearest exits and restrooms. Ensure a safe environment by maintaining clear aisles and reporting suspicious behavior to a supervisor/manager or security. Provide special assistance to guests with needs such as individuals with wheelchairs or other disabilities. Collect disregarded forgotten items after the event. Illuminate walkways once an event has started and assist guests with entering and exiting in darkened spaces.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in bright, cold, dark, dusty, smoky, and/or confined spaces.
• Able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time on hard surfaces.
• Comfortable working around large crowds.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Execute other job duties as assigned.
