Job Description

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the GSC and Assistant GSC Manager, this position is responsible for the overseeing the casino cage and vault. The individual will be accountable for funds, verification of wins, handling customer disputes, enforcing department policies and procedures, and other duties as assigned. The individual will have strong knowledge of Title 31 and tax requirements as pertains to the gaming operation. The individual will have a strong working knowledge of all areas of Cash Operations, excluding the drop & count.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):

1. Knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with all departmental procedures, Title 31, and tax requirements.

2. Receive, reconcile and manage a cashier draw as assigned.

3. Issue banks to and balance Cage Cashiers.

4. Perform even exchanges and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Vault.

5. Ensures adequate inventories of all operational supplies.

6. Verifying documents

7. Safekeeping money responsibilities

8. Responsible for communicating shift activities to the GSC Manager.

9. Ensure all daily financial paperwork is brought to audit.

10. Interacts with other departments to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide guidance to GSC Cashiers working their respective shift.



QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED

Must be able to obtain and maintain and Iowa Gaming License

Two years' experience in high cash handling experience preferred



SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

Proficient with computers and 10 key.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Will use a bill counter, casino kiosk, 10-key, multi-line phone.
