Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Handle guest requests, questions, and concerns promptly with a positive attitude, aiming to exceed expectations.
Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to assist callers with reservations, inquiries, or directions.
Maintain smooth front desk operations during shifts, including processing reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
Assist with night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure accurate record keeping.
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining options, and transportation services to enhance guest experiences.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs swiftly and efficiently.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to guest safety, confidentiality, and service standards.
Foster guest relations by creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and positive feedback.
Support multilingual communication efforts to assist diverse guests from various backgrounds.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred; previous hotel experience is highly valued.
Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving an international clientele effectively.
Knowledge of hotel management software systems is advantageous; familiarity with night audit processes is a bonus.
Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
Exceptional communication skills--both verbal and written--to connect effectively with guests and team members.
Ability to remain energetic, attentive, and professional during busy shifts or overnight hours.
