The Aloft Indianapolis Downtown is a newly opened Marriott property, and we are looking for an energetic, detailed oriented and friendly individual to be part of our front Office team as a guest service representative at Indy's newest and trendiest hotel destination; boasting 128 guestrooms, a full-service bar and a small plate dining concept.
Aloft is a hip Marriott lifestyle brand focused on style, personality and a lively hotel social scene to cater to the next gen traveler.
As a Guest Service Representative, you would be responsible for the following tasks:
Sincerity in the welcoming our guests
Eye contact, smile, tone and inflection in your voice with our guests
Anticipate guests' needs and exceed guest their expectations
Accurate, quick and efficient check in by following and completing all the key points on your check in script
Answer incoming calls and field guest questions
Know your local area attractions end directions
Promote teamwork and an enjoyable work environment
Clear communication between shifts and with fellow team members is a necessity for our fellow team members to be set up for success.
Ensure the safety and security of our guest and team members at all times and report unsafe conditions and suspicious activity to hotel leadership.
Ensure security and confidentiality of all guest and hotel information and
Adhere to the work rules set forth in the team member handbook.
Perform other duties as assigned.
