Receptionist

Bella Toccare de Salon & Spa, an AVEDA Concept Salon and Spa, is situated in downtown Brecksville, Ohio. We are looking for a highly motivated Guest Services Representative with a passion for the industry and a proven track record in customer service to join our team.

We are in search of a dedicated Guest Services Representative who can offer outstanding client service, demonstrate excellent phone manners, showcase strong computer skills, exhibit organizational capabilities, radiate friendliness and warmth, and deliver unparalleled service to our guests. We are looking for an individual who can multitask effectively.

As a Guest Services Representative, you represent Bella Toccare, being the initial point of contact for guests as they arrive at the salon and the final contact upon checkout. Ultimately, your role will be instrumental in enhancing our establishment by cultivating friendly and trusting relationships with customers.

While knowledge of Aveda and salon experience would be advantageous, it is not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

Warmly greet guests, and inform assigned service providers of their arrival. Book and confirm appointments via phone Process transactions (cash and credit cards). Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and products and schedule appointments based on availability. Inform guests about new services and discounts. Upsell services to existing guests. Update guest records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered. Maintain a tidy reception area and perform other cleaning tasks throughout the salon and spa. Inventory, restocking retail, receiving orders and inputting invoices. Support the Aveda culture and promote teamwork. Handling guests concerns.

Requirements and skills:

Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Guest Services Representative or similar role. Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems. Familiarity with processing transactions. Excellent communication (verbal, phone and email) and interpersonal skills. Solid organization and record-keeping skills. An ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Dependable High School diploma
