Responsibilities



Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional check-in experience. Manage guest reservations efficiently using hotel management software, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system skills. Assist guests with their requests, including room changes, special accommodations, or local information to enhance their stay. Maintain front desk operations by processing check-outs, issuing bills, and collecting payments accurately. Respond promptly to guest concerns or complaints, escalating issues appropriately to ensure guest satisfaction. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest room needs or facility issues swiftly. Support night audit procedures by reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy overnight. Promote hotel amenities and services to maximize guest engagement and satisfaction. Uphold high standards of hospitality management by demonstrating excellent customer service skills and professional appearance at all times. Maintain organized records of guest interactions, reservations, and incident reports for operational efficiency. Foster positive guest relations by creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.

Requirements



Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly preferred. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a significant advantage for communicating with diverse guests. Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations. Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is essential. Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel accounting practices is desirable. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries professionally. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed in a resort or hotel setting. Prior experience in resort environments or large-scale hotels will be advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest requests.
