Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests' stays at one of our properties.
Duties
Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, providing accurate information regarding property amenities.
Manage guest inquiries and requests promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
Operate multi-line phone systems to assist guests with reservations, inquiries, and concerns.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs effectively.
Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel services to enhance the guest experience.
Handle guest complaints with professionalism and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
Experience
Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred.
Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
Strong background in customer service with demonstrated ability in guest relations.
Familiarity with front desk operations and night audit processes is an advantage.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for this role.
Ability to use reservation software; familiarity with Streamline, Airbnb, VRBO, Zillow is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time; weekend work required.

Requirements
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle for meetings and property visits.
Ability to stand 4+ hours, walk properties/stairs; lift 25+ lbs as needed.
Professional appearance and demeanor; clear, confident verbal and written communication.
Working knowledge of individual properties (training provided).
Basic computer proficiency; comfortable on Mac.
