Reporting to the Vice President - Safety and Security, the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
Analyst/Operator/Tech - Event Manager is responsible for analytical, operational, and technical duties within the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) as well as managing events. The individual will
monitor security threats, manage physical security systems, coordinate response activities, and
administer security technologies to support global campus operations.Analysis - Monitor security threats and operational risks, prepare threat analyses and intelligence reports. Execute the various core functions of the GSOC to include incident recognition/escalation, intelligence analysis, emergency response, and physical security.
Operations - Respond to security incidents, manage alarms, access control systems, and coordinate with emergency services. Executing safety and security procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and facilitating emergency response activities as needed. Monitor alarms across all campuses and respond promptly to all incoming requests for assistance. Actively assess and address potential risks, threats, or incidents that may impact the safety/well-being of students/associates or business continuity of a campus.
Technology - Security system programming and administration, service ticket and work order management, security database maintenance, and internal security stakeholders. Troubleshooting and escalation. Supports the security integrations landscape by managing technical and operational components of security systems. This role ensures seamless communication with stakeholders and contributes to the stability and optimization of physical and digital security infrastructures.
Event Management - Plan, coordinate, and oversee security for campus and corporate events. Develop event security plans, including crowd management, access control, and emergency response protocols. Liaise with internal departments, external partners, and local law enforcement to ensure safe event execution. Manage vendor relationships and ensure appropriate staffing, technology, and physical security resources are in place. Conduct after-action reviews and produce post-event reports to identify lessons learned and best practices. Coordinate resources to support executive protection operations, including advance planning, logistics, and real-time monitoring during executive movements and events. Serve as the central point of contact for executive protection teams, ensuring communication, intelligence sharing, and deployment of GSOC resources to mitigate potential risks. Oversee protective support by integrating GSOC monitoring capabilities with on-the-ground executive protection details, ensuring seamless coordination and rapid response. Manage scheduling, travel security planning, and risk assessments to enhance the safety of executives and high-profile visitors across all campuses and corporate offices.
