Duties

Lead energetic group fitness classes across a variety of formats including cardio kickboxing, cycling, Pilates, yoga, dance-based workouts, CrossFit-inspired sessions, and sports coaching. Design and adapt class programs to meet the needs of different skill levels and fitness goals while ensuring safety and proper technique. Demonstrate correct exercise form and body mechanics by applying your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to prevent injuries and maximize results. Provide clear instructions and motivational cues to encourage participant engagement and foster a supportive environment. Monitor class participants' performance during sessions, offering modifications or progressions as needed to accommodate individual capabilities. Maintain a safe workout environment by ensuring equipment is used properly and the space is clean and organized. Promote upcoming classes, personal training services, and fitness programs to enhance member participation and retention. Stay current with industry trends by continuing education in areas such as health club management, fitness sales techniques, or specialized disciplines like Pilates or Yoga. Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages community building among members of all ages and backgrounds.

Skills

Strong knowledge of group fitness principles with experience in leading diverse class formats such as cycling, Pilates, yoga, dancing, kickboxing, CrossFit-style training, and sports coaching. Deep understanding of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to ensure safe exercise execution and injury prevention. Proven ability in program design tailored to different fitness levels while maintaining high energy and motivation throughout classes. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to communicate clearly and inspire confidence among participants. Familiarity with gym equipment operation and safety protocols within a health club setting. Experience in fitness sales or promoting memberships and personal training services to support member engagement. Passion for health & wellness with a commitment to continuous learning about new trends such as cycling techniques or innovative group workout modalities. Ability to create an inclusive environment that welcomes individuals from all backgrounds regardless of age or fitness level. Pay: $2,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
