This position will perform duties on client properties that require clear background checks to access facilities.

AS A GROUNDSKEEPING LABORER

You will create beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties. You will safely operate commercial-grade landscaping equipment and ensure the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.

GROUNDSKEEPING LABORER DUTIES INCLUDE

Operating vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snowblowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws. Caring for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls. Using hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes. Pruning or trimming trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. Gathering and removing litter. Raking, mulching, and composting leaves. Following planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage. Planting seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools.

QUALIFICATIONS WE LOOK FOR

Must complete background screening process and meet client background criteria to access facilities. Previous experience in landscape or similar industry. Knowledge and ability to use landscape-related tools (i.e. mowers, trimmers, blowers. etc.) Horticulture knowledge and standards of pruning, planting, digging, and mulching. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are a plus.

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Medical, Dental, Vision, Liability, and several more supplemental insurance options 401K plan with partial match
