Under supervision, you will perform a variety of grounds maintenance tasks to ensure the installation remains clean, safe, and professionally maintained.
What You'll Do (Essential Functions)

A. Grounds Maintenance Responsibilities
Maintain grounds according to contract standards and schedules.
Mow all improved grounds to a well-manicured level using walking or zero-turn mowers.
Perform weed control--weed eating, pulling weeds, and applying control measures.
Keep grounds clean using blowers and manual debris removal.
Trim hedges and shrubs; edge walkways, planters, buildings, and walls.
Prune trees and shrubs using saws and shears.
Respond to storm damage using first available manpower (fallen trees, debris, silt, etc.).
Aerate turf and apply fertilizers as needed.
Monitor equipment and report issues or malfunctions.

Follow dress code and complete all required annual training.
Report to work as scheduled; remain attentive and comply with attendance policies.
Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
Represent the organization professionally at all times.
Follow all company policies, including ethical standards and safety procedures (OSHA, SDS, HIPAA).
Maintain required licenses and certifications.
Respect and work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Carry a work phone while on duty and respond promptly to messages.
May operate a company or personal vehicle--company vehicles must remain clean.
