Duties

Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and watering to maintain healthy turf. Conduct landscape maintenance such as planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and installing or repairing hardscape features like pathways and patios. Use hand tools and power tools safely for trimming trees, pruning bushes, installing irrigation systems, and general landscape upkeep. Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows during seasonal changes to ensure grounds are accessible and safe year-round. Maintain tree care by trimming branches, removing deadwood, and supporting overall tree health using appropriate horticultural techniques. Assist with construction projects related to landscape improvements or hardscape installations to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs and promptly address issues to uphold safety standards.

Experience

Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment, power tools, and landscaping machinery is advantageous. Ability to operate machinery such as a mower, snow thrower, etc. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to landscaping tools, and equipment operation is essential. A proactive attitude towards maintaining outdoor spaces combined with good physical stamina ensures success in this role. On the job training is provided with a benefit of $10 per job complete. Meaning of you were able to get 2 or 3 jobs done in 1 hour you will get more.
