We anticipate the need for one or more Groundman to join our team in supporting electric overhead and underground construction in the Metro East area of Minnesota (Newport, MN, St. Paul, MN or White Bear Lake, MN). This position has a Graduate Wage Scale starting at $25.02 hourly. This position will be posted for 5 days from April 12, 2023 to April 17th, 2023.
Summary Successful candidate will perform all duties of the Groundman classification, which involves various electric line construction and maintenance responsibilities.
Required Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and meet all of the following criteria:

• Completion of an accredited Lineman program or Xcel Energy equivalent.
• Work experience operating construction equipment.
• Possess Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
• High commitment to Safety.
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Must be in excellent physical condition and be able to operate a 90 lb. jackhammer.
• Highly developed mechanical ability.
• Must be able to respond to after hours call out, both weekends and evenings.
• Must be willing to participate in written and hands on assessments
