Position Summary

The Grocery Supervisor supports the day-to-day operations of the Grocery Department -- ensuring excellent customer service, well-stocked displays, and a safe, clean environment. This role helps lead and train grocery associates, manages inventory and ordering, and maintains high standards for quality and organization.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support grocery associates to meet department goals and standards. Oversee daily grocery operations including stocking, rotation, and merchandising. Order, receive, and maintain grocery inventory according to store procedures. Ensure compliance with freshness, cleanliness, and safety standards. Monitor pricing accuracy, shrink control, and product presentation. Assist with scheduling, training, and team development. Address and resolve customer questions and concerns professionally. Work closely with store ownership to improve operations and team performance.

Qualifications

1+ year of grocery, retail, or supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Organized, dependable, and able to lead by example. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Availability for varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 36 per week
