Job Description

2nd Shift Mon-Thurs 4 pm - 2am

Operates grinding machines to assemble products and product parts to established blueprint and engineering specifications.


Principal Responsibilities:

Selects, mounts, attaches and calibrates a variety of attachments to grind angles, contours, lines and spheres, etc. on to surfaces. Must be able to log in and enter labor into Epicor as well as issue material to operations using the Epicor operating system. Physical strength, hand-eye coordination, endurance, concentration, computer estimating and communication skills; ability to use necessary tools and machines. Assist in other departments as needed Other duties as assigned

Safe Practice Guidelines / Required Personal Protective Equipment:

Safety glasses with side shields as required Steel toed/metatarsal safety shoes as required Gloves as required Earplugs as required Welding hood, jacket, face shield, and/or gloves as required Fire Retardant (FR) clothing as required N-95 mask or respirator as required Seat belts required on all forklifts

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Detail oriented Manage time with little to no supervision, self-motivated General knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment AS9100 Quality compliance, understanding, and commitment High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
