Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled items while ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Your expertise in meal preparation and food handling will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations.

Duties

Prepare and cook grilled foods, including meats, vegetables, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timing for service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices. Adhere to all culinary guidelines, ensuring quality control in every dish served.

Experience

Previous experience in a grill cook or similar role within the food service industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and culinary techniques. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including grills, knives, and other cooking tools. Understanding of food safety standards and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A team player with excellent communication skills who can help foster a positive work environment.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.50 per hour
