Job Description

SUMMARY:

The Greeter will provide excellent guest service to the customers of the restaurant of the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel by directing guests to appropriate sections based upon server availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Immediately upon the guests' arrival at the greeter stand or upon the greeter's return from seating another guest makes eye contact and greet customers in a friendly manner. Seat guests in dining areas as soon as a table is available to accommodate their party size. Answer guest inquiries. Maintain a reservation list as appropriate. Answer telephone and assist callers. Bus, clean, and set tables as needed. Keep greeter stand clean and organized. Performs guest services by taking to go orders, inputting orders using the POS, serving food and beverages to the customers promptly, and following the standards set by the restaurant. May obtain and carry a change bank (cash and coin) in order to provide cash services for guests, ensuring bank is accurate at end of shift. Other projects and duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Skills/Knowledge:

Excellent customer service skills required. Must work well in a team environment. Excellent verbal communication skills required. Strong organization and presentation skills preferred. Basic problem solving and prioritizing skills preferred.
