Graphic Designer / Production Manager

to join our team and help bring our clients' ideas to life.

Position Overview

The Graphic Designer / Production Manager is a hands-on role responsible for designing artwork, preparing files for production, overseeing workflow, and ensuring high-quality output across all sign and print projects. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with strong design skills, production knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Pre-Press

Create compelling layouts for signs, vehicle wraps, banners, decals, and branded materials Prepare print-ready files and ensure artwork meets production specifications Communicate with clients on revisions, approvals, and project expectations

Production Management

Oversee daily job workflow from design to fabrication Operate and maintain large-format printers, UV flatbed printers, plotters, and related equipment Coordinate production schedules to meet deadlines Maintain material inventory and order supplies as needed Ensure quality control on all finished products

Collaboration & Customer Service

Work closely with sales, installers, and fabrication team Provide technical expertise on materials, installation methods, and manufacturing options Assist in estimating job time, materials, and production costs

Qualifications

2-5+ years of experience in a sign shop or large-format print environment Strong proficiency in

Adobe Illustrator

,

Photoshop

, and other design tools Working knowledge of

RIP software

(Onyx, etc.) Experience with vinyl production, wide-format printing Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects at once Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable in a hands-on shop environment Installation experience (vinyl, vehicle wraps, sign installs) a plus
