Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer will apply art and design skills under the general direction of the Art Director, Chief Commercial Officer, or CEO to create visually engaging graphics for coins, machines, and other print and digital materials.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

Collaborates with client, art director, CCO and/or CEO to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message. Creates visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way. Uses graphics, clip art, and stock photography, as directed; may enhance choices with simple drawings and modifications. May select fonts for design work; produces sample layout for approval by client. participants. Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to management for approval. Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback processes. Consults with art director, and/or other team members as needed on complex or specialized projects. Prepares orders and instructions on notification of final approval. Maintains records of billable project time as required. Functions as back up to the Shipping team and customer service team. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Performs 5S duties on an ongoing basis to ensure that the assigned work area is maintained in a safe and clean manner. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or other similar design software. Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator. 3D software applications. Organized with attention to detail. Ability to work independently on an assignment. Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.

Desired but not required Skills/Abilities:

3D Printing. Carveco. Video Editing - After Effects, Adobe Premier.

Education and Experience:

Three to five years of graphic design or similar work in a manufacturing, or similar, setting.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to reach above head, squat to reach lower shelves, and bend to lift dies, graphics panels, and supplies. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
