Graphic Designer & Brand Manager



The Brand Manager & Graphic Designer position has three main focuses: content creation, brand awareness, and asset and content outreach. This position will create content for the HomeShowExpo, Tour of Remodeled Homes, Build My Future, and general membership events, as well as email campaigns.

Duties, Responsibilities, and Authorities:



Creates all content for the HomeShowExpo, Tour of Remodeled Homes, and Build My Future. Content can include digital and print ads, websites, signage, social media templates, video creation, show magazines, banners, and t-shirts. Manages the association's digital magazine, the "Blueprint," by creating monthly themes, coordinating writers, updating content, graphic creation, obtaining ads from advertisers, and writing when needed. Create and distribute email campaigns. Create and update the DSM HBA Membership Guide. Coordinate and maintain relations with Print and Signage companies. Create flyers and content for all events held by the association in multiple formats for digital and print distribution. Maintains Brand Standards throughout all creations. Photo and video editing for association needs, events, or other promotional items. Attend association events as needed. These events can be outside of normal work hours. Performs other duties as apparent or directed by the Executive Officer of the Association.

Must be proficient in:



Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Acrobat Digital Publication Service (i.e., Bluetoad, PageTurn Pro, Issuu) Email Campaign Platforms (i.e, MailChimp, Feathr) WordPress Microsoft Office (i.e, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Physical Demands: While

performing the duties of this position, the individual is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch and handle, reach with hands and arms, and communicate (talk and hear). The individual may be required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Sustained mental effort is regularly required. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the individual is occasionally exposed to a moderate noise level due to office equipment and co-workers, and there is moderate exposure to Video Data Terminals (VDTS).
