Character of the Job
Efficiently manage the fabrication processes and customer service experience while producing the desired effect for each individual job. Accurately document and record the job process and certify that fabrication meets all of Lexmar USA's quality standards and the customers' expectation in a timely manner
Principal Accountabilities
Falls under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager
Work directly with sales manager to establish and meet deadlines and ensure quality standards are met
Oversee and participate in the on time fabrication within quality standards
Quality Control - Review the installation packet for completeness and accuracy prior to fabrication
Read and interpret Drawings, Specifications,Templates, Estimate labor and material time, Supervise other workers
Quality Control - Review shop drawings/ templates for accuracy and QC check ALL jobs prior to releasing jobs to install crews by inspecting Material, Measurements, Number of Pieces and the Quality of Cuts, Seams, Edge Profile, polish and Material Match
Ensure ALL Tools are maintained
Assume other duties, training, tasks and assignments that may be given from time to time by Lexmar USA's management
Once a work order is completed ensure sales manager is notified to contact the client and schedule installation
Continually strive to conceive new ideas, products, and/or services for the Company to achieve its primary goal of increasing profits and market share, in an ethical manner
Develop and maintain policies and procedures to achieve the desired Company image of quality, service, and professionalism
Responsible for receiving, inspection, and recording of material upon arrival
work with customer to capture the vision of final product (ie color,patterns,movement ect.) while maintaining quality by avoiding flaws in material
ensure all pieces of project are within tolerances
responsible for operating and maintaining all tools and equipment associated with rough sizing and shaping of project
proficient forktruck operator
maintain all shop equipment, such as non-electric, electric and air-powered tools, grinders; or oversee the maintenance of the equipment by workers. Equipment maintenance might involve equipment inspection for damage or wear and cleaning and repair, as needed. If the maintenance can't be completed by staff, or If new equipment is needed, submit a request
Ensure Safety Policies and Practices are Maintained at all times by all shop employees
Supervise and manage the quality, performance and professional growth of all shop employees
Plan, delegate, oversee, and assist in fabrication process
Must be proficient in all areas of the fabrication process (ie Layout, rough sizing, profile, polishing, sink & cooktop cutouts, surface polishing ect.)

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
