Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grading & Landscape Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, your main responsibility will be the design/build of landscapes; as well as finish grading for sod & seed. Your expertise will help create beautiful, functional landscapes that meet client & builder specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in equipment, and contribute to the visual appeal of our community environments.

Responsibilities

Assist with hardscape projects such as building retaining walls, paver patios & walkways, installing edging, and other outdoor structures Operate hand tools or auger's to install plants, shrubs, and trees Perform detail-oriented grade work to allow sod & seed to be laid Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, re-mulching flower beds, sink hole repairs, etc Operate skid loaders and other various equipment, concrete saws, bed-edger, sod-cutter, and more Support snow plowing operations during winter months to assist in keeping our community's businesses safe and open Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Experience

Prior experience in landscaping, lawn maintenance, or equipment operation is highly preferred. Understanding of grading techniques, drainage, and erosion control preferred Commercial driving (CDL) or experience in driving with a trailer Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair or troubleshooting is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age Hold a valid drivers license, obtain(or the ability to obtain) a CDL is preferred Must be authorized to work within the United States A reliable method of transportation to and from work The ability to pass a pre-employment background check & drug screening The ability to routinely lift/move 50-100 lbs, walk, stand, crouch, bend over, stoop, etc.
