Elementary Teacher Grade 4 Long Term SubstituteLocation: Woodland Elementary SchoolSchedule: March 25, 2026 through May 19, 2026 (Approximate)Salary: TBDTo Start: March 25, 2026 (Approximate) Qualifications: MA DESE Teacher Licensure - Elementary 1-6; requiredSheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement; preferredExcellent organizational and communication skillsWorking knowledge of the Massachusetts Curriculum FrameworksExcellent classroom management skillsAbility to differentiate instruction across all curriculum areas for all learnersAbility to create innovative lessons using interactive technologyAbility to utilize various computer software programs - student database (Aspen), Google Workplace, etc.Ability to collaborate with colleagues and ability to function as part of a team.Experience with Expeditionary Learning or Standards-Based Literacy Program; preferredAbility to use assessments to inform instructionWorking knowledge of MTSS and how to develop classroom interventionsResponsibilities: Preparation, presentation and evaluation of lessons;Management of classroom and the care of equipment and material contained therein;Supervision of students placed in their charge;Maintenance of records directly related to classroom instruction;Counseling and guidance of students, especially those within their classroom;Administer/interpret variety of diagnostic instruments;Communicate regularly with parents/guardians/community agencies and peers to ensure student success;Collaborating with other staff members daily;Management and supervision of teaching/behavioral assistants within the classroom; andOther duties as assigned by Building and District Administration.
