Job Description

The position entails recalculating GPAs (Grade Point Averages) on incoming first year transcripts on applicants. Responsible for counting and recording the five core subject areas and a few additional courses, which include Science, Mathematics, English, Social Sciences and World Language. This also requires the GPA Recalculation Team member to count and record grades, course levels and credit values for the specific courses mentioned above from freshmen, sophomore and junior years of high school. The GPA Recalculation Team Member will utilize this data to produce a recalculated GPA by entering the data into a calculator built into the SLATE platform used by the Admissions Office. This data would produce a new weighted GPA that will then be utilized in the Admission Office file review process. The position entails data entry, accuracy, research and critical thinking.


Duties/Responsibilities



Will be working remotely 100% of the time, so time management is required. 20 hours per week from the end of October to the end of February.

Requirements



Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience :


Some experience in data entry and/or higher education.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :


Computer skills. Accuracy. Ability to research high school websites online. Detail orientated. Able to work remotely.

Compensation Pay Range:



$17.00-$20.00/Hour
