BlueHalo is currently recruiting for a Property Manager. This position will report to the Vice President of Procurement and Government Property and will oversee and maintain the Government Property Systems across several product lines with locations in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Huntsville Alabama, manufacturing state-of\xe2\x80\x93the-art products that enables our customers to complete a variety of missions consistently and effectively in complex environments.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Government Property policies and procedures with extensive experience leading a team of Property Administrators. In this role, a typical day will include manages government property and government funded equipment assets in accordance with contract requirements, approved procedures, and government regulations. This senior position interfaces regularly with other senior leaders from programs, manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, finance, and contracts.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Leads and mentors additional team members across 2 sites.
  • Experience in DCMA Property Audits in accordance with FAR 52.245-1, FAR 45.105, and DFARS 252.245-7003
  • Ensures all equipment is accounted for and properly barcoded.
  • Receive and inspect equipment to include movement, barcoding and data entry.
  • Prepares equipment for shipment to include property movement and related documentation. This may include palletizing, banding, and moving pallets to transport vehicles.
  • Updates property records with any movement of assets or materials.
  • Ensures storage areas and other property areas are clean and maintained.
  • Supports the Supply Chain Director in developing and support the supply chain management and integration across the Supply Chain organization in multiple locations across the US.
  • Works cross-functionally to forge collaborative relationships with engineering, production control, operations finance, program management, and operations leadership to drive best practices.
You\'re required to have this
  • Related Bachelor\'s Degree and 5 to 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 work experience or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 10 plus years in a manufacturing industry, preferably within an aerospace/defense, or other highly regulated industry.
  • 5 to 10 years of managing and developing Supply Chain professionals.
  • Must have strong ethical and moral principles.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong comprehensive knowledge of DCMA\xe2\x80\x99s approved Property System guidelines for compliance and experienced in Property Management System Audit (PMSA)
  • Must demonstrate the ability and experience to maintain an approved government property system and responsible for compliance to all FAR/DFARs regulations.
  • Broad discipline experience in a multi-plant supply chain environment.
  • Must have experience in Inventory and Property Management Systems
  • Experience in Systems Integration.
  • Excellent leadership skills. Both as a people manager and a transformational leader.
  • DCMA, DCAA and or other similar regulatory experience.
  • DPAS experience preferred.
  • Must possess the ability to establish rapport and working relationships at all levels of the organization and communicate effectively throughout.
  • Proven ability to navigate a complex business environment. High tolerance for change and ambiguity.
  • Have a strong bias for action, can communicate vision clearly and be a driver of change.
  • Have an agile leadership style; able to adjust one\xe2\x80\x99s approach to fit the situation as a driver, coach, mentor, or teacher.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
