Pay:
$19 - 24 / hour (Based on experience)
Shifts Available in Comprehensive Care Unit:
Full-Time Shift 11pm-7:30am, Every other Mon, Fri, & Weekend; Every Tues, Wed, & Thurs
Part-Time Shift 3pm-11:30pm, Every Fri, Every other Mon, Thurs & Weekend
Part-Time Shift 11pm-7:30am, Every other Weekend
Part-Time Shift 7am-3:30pm, Every other weekend
Shifts Available in Assisted Living Unit:
Part-Time Shift 11pm-7:30am, Every other Tues, Fri, & Weekend
(Evening/night shift differential included)

Blakehurst
is recruiting for hospitality focused Geriatric Nursing Assistants to join our team.
Essential Job Duties:
Assist all residents with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, positioning, turning, exercising, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
Assist residents with mealtime. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.
Communicate to residents, families, Department Leaders, and the Director of Nursing when needed.
Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
One (1) year experience working as a GNA.
Must be on the Maryland Board of Nursing State Registry.
All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community also require that we ask about your vaccination status.
