Job Description


Summary GE Aerospace\'s Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul organization is deploying SAP globally to our 25 Overhaul, OnWing Support, and Repair sites. As a Global Product Architect, you will be responsible for providing contemporary end to end solutions and the technical roadmap that enable high impact business outcomes for our sites. You will have a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and processes in our Production & Engineering area covering the PM, PP, PS, and QM modules. Understand the big picture and key business metrics to connect the dots across technologies and design and develop solutions catering to cross technology integrations with SAP.



Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Own and Manage the technical SAP solution within engineering, quality, planning and shop floor execution processes at the Aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul shops.
  • Contribute to highly complex projects that require in-depth domain knowledge.
  • Act as a subject matter expert who can understand the business requirements, identify solution options, and influence executive stakeholders on product and process direction.
  • Demonstrate excellent business acumen, understands latest industry trends, and is looked at as an expert on the product.
  • Contribute to highly complex projects that require in-depth domain knowledge.
  • Provides architectural support across teams.
  • Make design decisions and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
  • Work on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business, acts as adviser and coach to junior team members.
  • Work with developer teams and other Functional and Technical resources to deliver complex technology solutions.
  • Communicate across direct organization and across the IT function in the area of expertise.
  • Present to Senior and Executive leadership in their specific technical space and on cross-functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 15 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management or IT
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Desired Characteristics:
  • 15+ Years of Configuration and Solution Architect experience in SAP implementations and deployments primarily in SAP PM, PP, PS, or QM modules.
  • Strong professional experience in SAP Architecture with ability to analyze, design, and develop a solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel.
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying SAP modules related to PM, PP, PS, or QM modules, performing business process and solution design, system configuration and testing.
  • Experience with other modules or experience with ABAP/Custom programs will be an added advantage.

Pay Transparency:
  • The salary range for this posting is 127,900.00 - 213,200.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position Is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
