Assistant Team & Pre-Team Coach

The Assistant Team & Pre-Team Coach is a fulltime position with benefits. Duties include but are not limited to:

Providing a safe training environment physically, mentally, and emotionally Lifting and spotting gymnasts and students Working with Team Coaching Staff in a team coaching style Supporting the Head Coach with team operational tasks Lesson planning and executing workouts for Levels 2-10, Xcel, and Pre-Team Collaborating on daily, monthly, and semester event rotations Designing lesson plans for the Team and Pre-Team athletes that help with skill acquisition and progression to team Assist with training Pre-Team and Recreational coaching staff Coaching pre-team to optional gymnasts on all four events Assisting with the premier travel and recreational gymnastics team on all four events Helping to manage the team and recreational event rotations Communicating with parents verbally and in writing Attending and participating in Team Coaching Staff meetings Attending and participating in Manager/Director meetings Traveling to and coaching at competitions Documenting skills/strength tests for pre-team and team Giving input on program development and athlete training Helping to make decisions that positively impact the business Upholding the team Mission, Vision, & Keystone Principles
