Georgia-Pacific (GP) is seeking Engineering Interns for Summer 2026 at our Savannah River Mill in Rincon GA! We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineers to join our team.

The Savannah River Mill has been in operation since 1986 and is one of the largest tissue mills in the world. This facility produces both Retail and Away-From-Home Bath Tissue, Towels and Napkins with virgin and recycled fiber. It is located on the Savannah River approximately 25 miles from the coast.

What You Will Do
Engineering Interns are likely in a manufacturing facility, to help support innovation, process efficiency, equipment reliability, and quality assurance, with a large overarching focus on compliance, safety, and health. Our intern program seeks talent from many disciplines including (but not limited to):

• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Pulp & Paper Science

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.).
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to relocate per program requirements.
• Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2028.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Enrolled in an Electrical, Mechanical, Pulp & Paper Science, or related Engineering degree program.
