The Geologic Technician is responsible for supporting geoscientists in development planning and the geologic operations of company assets. Ensure quality creation and maintenance of multiple geologic databases, software, and data types. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining multiple geologic databases
- Creating and maintaining multiple Geographix and Starsteer projects
- Ensuring consistency and entry of all company well data (op & nonop) into Geographix and
- Starsteer during all phases from pre-drill, drill, post-drill, pre-completions, and post completions
- Importing and exporting data between projects and geologic/analytical software
- Montage and presentation creation support
- Map, log, and geologic data digitizing
- Data mining physical (well log libraries) and digital (online ie USGS, WOGCC, COGCC, etc)
- Provide geologic data for regulatory reporting
- Geologic and operator data tracking and entry
- Provide support for data trades and studies both on extracting geologic data as well as importing geologic data into company databases
- Seismic data loading and integration with geologic software
- Assist with creation of geologic maps, cross sections, geoprogs as necessary
- Health insurance

- Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
