Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled laborer with experience in industrial painting to join a well established gate fabrication and installation company in Maui, Hawaii, on either a full or part time basis.

Skills must include 2+ years of industrial painting experience utilizing both HVLP and high pressure painting systems. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has a strong work ethic, and takes pride in their work. You should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and be comfortable working on a variety of surfaces and metal materials. You will be assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the paint booth and fabrication shop, so cleanliness is a must.

Must be comfortable working in a fabrication shop and the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, basic mechanical knowledge. Shop Labor / Painter Position Responsibilities

General shop maintenance and upkeep Measuring and cutting metals Assist with Installation of completed projects Able to lift over 50 lbs Provide Conduit layout and installation (when needed) Provide Trench and backfill labor (when needed) Post installation and able to work under the sun all day (when needed) Concrete forming and pouring for pads, post and tracks (when needed) Onsite painting and quality control ( onsite) Prep gates to receive paint finish (shop time) Wash all prepped gates in preparation for paint ( follow proper procedure) Priming and painting of gates at the shop using our paint booth and air system Assistance in wood cutting, staining and installation (when needed)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
