General Service & Tire Technician:

Overview: Our company is looking for an experienced Tire and General Service Technician for our North Ridgeville location, located at 37775 Center Ridge Rd. Van's Auto Service & Tire Pros has been family owned and operated for over 30 years providing 5-star customer service.

Responsibilities:

Inspect tires on vehicles before and after installation

Perform tire rotations, balancing, and other maintenance tasks

Perform oil changes, checking fluid levels, replace worn parts such as brake pads, wheel bearings etc.

Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements: This job operates in an automotive shop environment. The job will expose the workers to a moderate noise level, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust.

Must be able to lift, carry, and stock merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time

Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting

Professional Qualifications:

Must be proficient in general vehicle inspections, changing of tires, and completing oil changes

Minimum 2 years of experience in an auto shop/mechanic setting strongly preferred

Proven knowledge of vehicle maintenance operations

Ability to work a flexible schedule with great attendance.

*All candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid driver's license with a clean MVR history.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
