Aerotek is IMMEDIATELY HIRING General Production Workers in the Rochester, NY Area

PAY RATE : $16.50/hr

JOB DESCIRPTION

Aerotek is supporting a grocery chain in hiring a General Production candidate to work on the poultry line in the Culinary Innovation Center.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

These individuals could be doing anything from passing food products through on a line and reviewing product labels for accuracy, applying seasonings and marinades in the different marinade rooms or packing up completed products for shipments. Candidates will be trained on all areas, rotated ever 2 hours for variety and the meat is all pre-cut so there will be no machine operation involved. Regardless of the area they are supporting, they will be working in teams on their feet all day and will be fully gowned for sanitation purposes.

MUST HAVES:

High School Diploma

Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment

1 year of manufacturing or food service experience

Ability to lift 50 pounds

SHIFT:

Monday - Friday - First Shift - Typical hours are between 8:00am - 4:30pm but candidates must be available from 4:00am - 5:30pm and comfortable working some weekends as needed
